Seven ways to draw a slip
Finishes
One object, five finishes
Each finish has its own color. Sound is a separate choice: a dial that ticks in boxwood, pine or brass; a bronze bowl or a stone chime as a slip opens. The slip is always Xuan paper.
The Rack
One slip a day,
gathered into a year
Slips hang on the rack in order, lunar month by lunar month. The seals you press, the words you write and the photographs you keep all stay with each slip.

Five principles we keep

Reckoned
Every hexagram is reckoned by a set method, from the moment or from the words, numbers or coins you give. Recompute the same input at any time, and the result is the same.
- 躬行
In the present
The slip names what you can do today. It speaks of time and rhythm; the doing is yours.
- 成器
Time in an object
A dial made in the spirit of craft: five finishes, the voice of bowl and chime, every turn and every sound in measure.
- 自足
Whole in your hand
Drawing a slip, pressing a seal, writing a line: all of it happens in your hand, and all of it works deep in the mountains, beyond any signal.
- 随身
Through the years
Today's slip will still be at your side years from now, so you can look back on the road you have walked.

Installation and file verification
- Check that you are on koyonari.com, then choose Download Android APK.
- Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow installations only for the browser or file manager you are using.
- You can turn off that installation permission afterwards. If you see a security warning, stop and contact hi@koyonari.com.
For updates, download the latest version from this page and install it over the existing app. Keep your current app and records.
The Google Play and website versions use different signing keys. Keep updating through your original channel. If Android reports a signature conflict, keep the app installed, export a backup and contact us.
